This month Taktyl builds with Claude and ChatGPT, connects to your sign-in, your LMS and your other systems, and helps every student hear your words the right way.

Build faster

Build with Claude or ChatGPT. Connect your AI app on Account › Integrations and ask it, in your own words, to build and change drafts and publish them when you say so. You choose whether it sees your students' names.
Describe a picture with your organisation's AI. Describe this picture writes a first description for you to read and make your own.
Stock pictures and video in every picker. Connect your own Pexels, Unsplash, Pixabay or Coverr key, and search from the Stock tab.
Merge copies of the same file. The Asset library tells you when a file is stored twice, and Merge copies keeps one.

Write for every reader

Mark words in another language. Select words, choose Language in the text toolbar and pick the language, so a screen reader reads them in the right voice. A faint dotted underline shows them while you edit, and Not marked takes a mark off.
Use the text toolbar from your keyboard. The toolbar stays open as you Tab into it, so Link and Language work without a mouse.

Run your activities

Opening and closing dates, with extensions. Choose when each activity opens and closes, hand in work automatically at the close, and give one student more time.
A Learner Hub for every student. Students who sign in land on their own hub, with the activities they were given, when each one closes, and their attempts and scores.
Links are checked before you publish. Publish lists any link, video or picture address that may not work, so you can fix it or publish anyway.
Restore or copy an earlier version. Share › Every version can make an earlier version your draft again, or start a new activity from it.

Connect and share

Connect your LMS from one address. Paste a registration address into Canvas, Moodle or Brightspace, and it adds Taktyl itself.
Single sign-on and SCIM. Staff sign in with your own SAML or OpenID Connect provider, SCIM keeps their accounts in step, and two accounts of one person can be merged.
The Data API, webhooks and embeds. Organisation admins can read activities and totals from the Data API, get a signed message when something happens, and paste an activity's link into any site that understands oEmbed.
Read the Support Centre without signing in. Every guide and What's new are online for anybody, so you can send a colleague a link.

Work from anywhere

Tabs fit on your phone. On a small screen the tabs show their icons, and each one keeps its name for screen readers and on hover.

Keep up with Taktyl

What's new by email, once a month. Turn it on from What's new, and each month's highlights come to your inbox.
Choose which emails you get. Switches for invitations and feedback updates sit on your Profile.
Get to know Taktyl. A short welcome tour opens on the dashboard when you sign in, until you tell it not to.

Your suggestions through Feedback help shape what we build next, so keep them coming.

Taktyl is improved all the time, and every change shows here as it reaches you.
