# Check your organisation's usage > Usage shows each thing your plan counts as a meter, how much room is left, and what happens when one fills. **Usage** shows what your organisation uses, against your plan. Each figure is counted at the moment you open the page. 1. In the rail, under **Organisation**, choose **Usage**. 2. Read the line at the top. It sums up the **Activities**, **Staff members** and **Storage** meters in one sentence: - **Everything fits your plan.** - **Something is close to your plan's limit.** One meter is at 80% or more. - **Something is past your plan's limit. Nothing is refused yet.** - **Something is full: the next one is refused until there is room.** 3. Read each meter. It shows the figure against your plan, a bar, and a sentence such as **3 left on your plan**, **At your plan's limit** or **No limit on your plan**. ## What each meter counts - **Activities**: the activities in your organisation, not counting those in the Bin. - **Staff members**: the people who build in your organisation. Each open invitation holds a seat too, and the meter says how many do. - **Students**: the students who opened one of your activities in the last 12 months. Each person counts once. - **Storage**: the space your uploaded files take. - **Workspaces**: how many workspaces you have. ## When a meter fills Nothing is ever switched off. What you already have keeps working. - When **Activities** or **Storage** is full, the next new activity or upload waits until there is room. - **Staff members** has a little room past your plan before new staff members are refused, and the meter says how much. A plan with one staff seat has no extra room. - **Students** are never refused, at any figure. The meter only tells you how many there are. To make more room, ask for a bigger plan on **Billing**. See "See your plan and ask for a bigger one".
