# Invite people to your organisation

> Send one or many invitations, choose each person's role and workspaces, and follow the invitations still waiting.

Nobody joins your organisation without an invitation. As an organisation admin, you send them from **Members**.

## Send invitations

1. In the rail, under **Organisation**, choose **Members**.
2. Select **Invite people**.
3. In **Email addresses**, type or paste one or more addresses, separated by commas, spaces or new lines. You can invite up to 50 at a time.
4. Under **Invite them as**, choose a role:
   - **Organisation Member** builds activities in the workspaces you choose.
   - **Organisation Admin** runs the organisation: its members, workspaces, connections and settings.
5. For an Organisation Member, tick the workspaces under **Put them in these workspaces**. An Organisation Admin reaches every workspace, so this choice is not offered.
6. If you like, add **A note in the email**. It is shown in quotes under your name.
7. Select **Send invitation** (or **Send 3 invitations**, with your own count).

Each person gets an email with a link to join. Nothing changes until they accept. If an address cannot be invited, it stays in the box with the reason, and the others are sent.

If your plan has no room for more staff members, Taktyl tells you so, and the addresses stay in the box. Each open invitation holds a seat until it is answered.

## What the invited person does

They open the link in the email and sign in, or create an account with that address. Then they choose **Accept** on Notifications › **Invitations**. You are told when they answer.

## Invitations still waiting

Open invitations are listed under **Invitations waiting**, with **Invited as**, **Invited by** and a **Status**:

- **Open until** a date: the link works until then. An invitation is open for 14 days.
- **Not delivered**: the email did not go out. Choose **Send again** from the row's **⋯** menu.
- **Expired**: choose **Reopen and send again** to give it a fresh 14 days.

To cancel one, choose **Withdraw** from the **⋯** menu, then **Withdraw invitation**. The link stops working at once. It does not go to the Bin; to change your mind, invite them again.
