# Content pages: text, pictures, video, audio, notes and tables > Put plain content between your interactions, and mark words written in another language. A content page holds plain content that students read or watch between interactions. It is never marked. ## Add content 1. On the **Activity** tab, select the content page. Its items appear in the middle as students will see them. 2. Select **Add content**, then **Text**, **Picture**, **Video**, **Audio**, **Note** or **Table**. 3. Type straight onto the page. To change an item's settings, select the small label above it; its settings open in the panel on the right. The panel's foot moves the item up or down, makes a **Duplicate**, or deletes it (**Delete**, with **Undo**). **The page** takes you back to the page's own settings, where **Name** is a label for you only. Everything saves a moment after each change. ## What each item needs - **Text**: select words to make them bold, italic, a list or a link. Empty text is left out for students. - **Picture**: a **Picture address** (https) or **Choose from the library**. **Describe the picture** for screen readers, or switch on **Decorative** if there is nothing to describe. A picture with neither stops a Publish. Choose its **Width** and whether students can **Click to enlarge**. - **Video**: a **Video address** from YouTube, Vimeo or a video file, and a **Title**. - **Audio**: an **Audio address**, a **Title**, and a **Transcript** for anyone who cannot hear it. - **Note**: a highlighted box. Choose **Tip**, **Good to know** or **Take care**, then type its label and words on the page. - **Table**: a **Caption**, whether **The first row is the headings**, and the cells. **+ Row** and **+ Column** add more, up to 20 rows and 8 columns. Colours come from the activity's theme, so content pages stay plain on purpose. ## Mark words in another language When some words are in another language, mark them so a screen reader reads them in the right voice. 1. Select the words in a text box. 2. Select **Language** in the text toolbar and pick the language. A faint dotted underline shows the marked words while you edit. Students see no change. To take the mark off, select the words and choose **Not marked**.
