# Suggest terms and questions from your notes > Paste your notes and your organisation's own AI provider suggests terms or questions, which you check and add one at a time. **Suggest from notes** turns your own notes into draft terms for a word list, or draft questions for a quiz. You decide on every one. Taktyl has no AI account of its own. It uses your organisation's own AI provider account and key: your key, your credit. Your notes are sent to that provider, under your organisation's account, to make the suggestions. This is not how you connect Claude or ChatGPT. For that, see [Build with Claude or ChatGPT](/support/articles/build-with-claude-or-chatgpt). ## Set it up (organisation admins) 1. Go to **Organisation › Integrations** and find the **AI provider** card. 2. Choose the **Provider**. **Model** is optional: leave it empty to use the one shown. 3. Paste the **API key** from your account with that provider. It is stored encrypted and never shown again. 4. Press **Connect**. The card now says **Active**. To stop it for a while, turn off **Enable AI assistance** and press **Save changes**: the card says **Paused**. To turn off just this feature, switch off **Suggest from notes** under **What it is used for**. **Disconnect** deletes the saved key. What authors already added stays as it is. ## Use it (authors) 1. Open a word tool (such as **Flashcards** or **Crossword**) or a quiz in the editor. 2. Press **Suggest terms from notes** under the word list, or **Suggest questions from notes** under the questions. 3. Paste **Your notes**, choose **How many**, and press **Suggest terms** or **Suggest questions**. 4. Read each suggestion. Under it is the line from your notes it came from. Taktyl checks that this line really is in your notes; if it is not, the suggestion says **Not found in your notes. Check it before adding.** 5. Press **Add** on the ones you want and **Skip** on the rest. Each one is added on its own, never all at once. 6. Press **Close** when you are done. You can still change anything you added. Questions come as multiple choice, true or false, short answer, fill the gaps or put in order, whichever your quiz holds. If the button says you cannot suggest here yet, your organisation has not connected a provider, has paused it, or has switched the feature off. If the provider does not answer, nothing is added: try again, or type them in yourself.
